A Castle Wedding Destination Uses Internet Presence to Gain More Customers
A Castle wedding is what most little girls dream of. This fantasy could become a reality when they search for destination weddings on the Internet; that is if the castle has an Internet presence. It should because every real-world business should also have an Internet presence if not an Internet online store.
An Internet presence for a castle that gives space to couples who want their weddings performed in a unique old Renaissance style castle or have more of a fairytale theme should have more than simple directions and hours of operation on their Internet site. A keyword rich article should be placed on a castle website, which would do several things for a castle business. First and foremost, a keyword rich article would inform potential customers about what a wedding castle has to offer and then the keyword rich article will help attract the three major search engines – Yahoo!, MSN and Google. These major search engines send out feelers in order to find the keywords or keyword phrases within the articles so that they may rank the website according to a special formula for their search engine webpages. Keywords or keyword phrases are the words potential customers use in the search boxes in order to find what they want or need. An example of a keyword phrase would be “wedding castle” or simply “castle”. The process of having a keyword rich article on a website for the search engines is called search engine optimization or SEO.
Having a high ranking on the search engine pages helps a business gain more customers because the majority of consumers search for what they need or want on the Internet before turning to any other media and that includes the local phonebook. An additional benefit to having a high ranking on the search engines is that many consumers are particularly lazy and only look to the first three to five website recommendations before making their choices; therefore that is where a business needs to be.
A unique wedding destination, such as a castle, could engage in an article exchange with another website in order to increase their customer database in addition to boosting their website’s ranking on the search engine webpages because search engine optimization is always working no matter where a keyword rich article has been placed on the Internet. The keyword rich article exchange may or may not be relevant to what the businesses have to offer potential customers. For example, a smoothie franchise could feature an article about unique wedding destinations and unique catering options and this same article could be featured on the castle website.
Having a real-world brick-and-mortar location business does not exclude a company from also having an Internet business or at least an Internet presence with a user friendly, interactive website that has informative and well-written information available for potential customers.
